Apply For an ISN Fellowship Before May 1

The ISN Fellowship Program provides funding to young nephrologists from low and middle-income countries to receive hands-on training in advanced host institutions abroad. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2021.

Apply for an ISN Fellowship grant here.

Applicants should provide a detailed training plan to help the ISN Fellowship Committee ascertain a match between the applicant’s aspirations, the Host Center’s offer, and the Home Center’s strategy. Preference is given to applications for hands-on clinical training and training within the Fellow’s home region.

Candidates should preferably have had at least one year’s experience in nephrology practice. Fellows are required to sign an agreement stipulating the return to their Home Center after training.

Applicants interested in a 12-month training course in general nephrology must complete a foundation course on the ISN Academy, including modules on AKI, GFR, Glomerulonephritis, Dialysis, and CKD.

In addition, all successful ISN Fellows are obliged to complete a certain number of online modules on the ISN Academy during their training at the host institution.

More details on the ISN Academy courses will be provided shortly. Please contact fellowship@theisn.org if you have any questions.
