The ISN World Congress of Nephrology, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 13/04/2024-16/04/2024 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
Please find below the breakdown of EACCME®s per day:
April 13, 2024 – 10.5
April 14, 2024 – 6.5
April 15, 2024 – 7.5
April 16, 2024 – 4.5
The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 1 ECMEC® for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. Cf. Chapter X of UEMS 2016.20.
IMPORTANT: You will be able to obtain CME credits only for the days in which you have scanned your badge at the “Badge Scanning Zones”.

A CME certificate of attendance will be available for printing via WCN’24 platform after the congress. No printed certificates will be available onsite. More information including instructions on how to download the certificate will be provided by email to all participants after the congress.

- Login to your WCN’24 Dashboard https://wcn24.theisn.org/
Username: the email address used to register to WCN’24
Password: should you not remember your password, please use the “Forgot your password” link on the platform login page. - Click on the “My CME Certificate” button from your WCN’24 User Dashboard.
- Complete the feedback survey to access your certificate. This is mandatory and required by EACCME®.
- Download your Certificate.
Minors (persons under 18) can access the congress venue and other WCN‘24 areas.* Minors must be registered at the congress registration desk. Registered children must wear a badge or wristband with the caretaker’s contact details at all times while on–site.
Adults are fully responsible for the appropriate behavior of the children they accompany. Interference with congress activities will not be accepted. The organizers take no responsibility for any damage to the venue, other facilities, or disruption caused by minors. Content deemed unsuitable for children may be displayed during WCN‘24 congress sessions.
*Minors will not be admitted to the Opening Ceremony, the Exhibition Hall, the Interventional Nephrology Course, or Industry Symposia.
The following child facilities are available:
- A playroom for parents, caretakers and minors is available in the CEC in Production Hall 1. All minors must be accompanied by their parent or caretaker at all times.
- A breastfeeding room is available in Production Hall 1.
- In each session room, the seats nearest to the exit will be reserved for delegates who may need to leave a session abruptly, such as doctors on call or parents with children.
Using mosquito repellent is recommended throughout the day and night due to the potential presence of Dengue in the country. If using sunscreen, it is best to first apply the sunscreen, wait 20 minutes, and then use the mosquito repellent.
Please ensure to bring your own mosquito repellent with you to Argentina, as there is non available to purchase locally.
To deliver high-quality experience, WCN organizers will provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can share information and ideas in a professional, positive, and friendly way. WCN organizers will not accept any intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions. This includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, and stalking. All attendees, including speakers, sponsors, vendors, partners, and staff are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct on the WCN congress platforms and conference-related social media:
- Be considerate, respectful, collaborative, and inclusive
- Participate in an authentic and active manner
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, prejudicial, or harassing behavior and speech
- Do not use inappropriate language and images
- Do not engage in harm or threats of any kind
- Do not inappropriately disrupt presentations, talks and the congress in general
- Do not make audio or visual recordings of slides, Q&A, oral or poster presentations, forums/chats without presenter/author’s permission
Attendees can report inappropriate behavior to the congress organizers at infowcn@theisn.org. In case of inappropriate behavior, WCN organizers reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary including removal from the virtual congress without warning or refund, and they reserve the right to refuse attendance at future ISN meeting.
