ISN-ISRNM Webinar: kidney nutrition care – current state and strategies to address barriers
This joint ISN-ISRNM webinar addresses kidney nutrition assessment and management in resource-limited settings. Dr. Angela Wang will provide a global perspective on kidney nutrition care, leading to a panel on strategies to reduce gaps in kidney nutrition care in lower-income countries.
Learning Objectives:
- To identify the availability, capacity, and cost of kidney nutrition care services globally
- To recognize the global disparities in kidney nutrition care services and related interdisciplinary communication between dietitians and nephrologists
- To derive strategies to promote advocacy for kidney nutrition care and to address barriers to accessing kidney nutrition care, with a focus on low- and low-middle income countries
