Clinical Research

ISN Clinical Research

The ISN Clinical Research Program supports research and education initiatives involving nephrologists, health workers, and local authorities in low and middle-income countries.

The Program helps implement research projects to detect and manage non-communicable chronic diseases such as CKD, AKI, hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Program Options

The ISN Clinical Research General Program has one application round per year, on May 1. Applications are open to ISN members from low or middle-income countries.

The ISN and the Société Francophone de Néphrologie Dialyse et Transplantation (SFNDT) have joined forces to support the development of nephrology in French-speaking countries in Africa.

The ISN Online Scientific Writing Course 2021 is cohosted by Sociedad Latinoamericana de Nefrología e Hipertensión (SLANH) in the Latin America region.

Ten young ISN members from the ISN Latin America region (Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru) were selected and will have the opportunity to participate in this unique course.

This online course is given by experts in the field of scientific writing to help physicians and researchers improve their scientific writing skills, so they achieve the skills needed to publish their research work.

The ISN Online Writing Course 2021 is running during 4 consecutive Saturdays:

  • 8, 15, 22 and 29 May
  • 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM GMT -3
  • 2,5-hour live session each Saturday
