The SharE-RR Advisory Group has created a step-by-step toolkit to guide nephrologists, public health officials, and others to establish and maintain successful, sustainable renal registries.
A paper on the toolkit, led by Fergus J. Caskey, leader of the ISN SharE-RR Advisory Group, in collaboration with other SharE-RR Advisory Group members and global registry experts, has now been published in the “Nephrologists Sans Frontières” section of Kidney International®.
Read the paper “A Toolkit for ISN’s Registry Initiative, SharE-RR” here.
While renal registries traditionally focus on collecting data on dialysis or kidney replacement therapy, the ISN’s toolkit offers broader guidance, presenting principles that extend to registries covering acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and other types of kidney disease.
Join us for the toolkit’s official launch at the World Congress of Nephrology 2024 in Buenos Aires during the spotlight session on April 13, from 6.45-7.15 p.m. and the session, “SharE-RR: The Global Situation and Inspiration From Established Registries in Latin America,” from 1-4.05 p.m. (times are local).
