Clinical Research Program Grants: results are out!

The ISN Clinical Research Program Committee is pleased to announce the results of the May 2017 application round.

ISN will fund four project following this recent call for applications. Congratulations to everybody involved in the following projects:

  • Geraldo Bezerra da Silva Junior, Renal Health self-monitoring application (Brazil)
  • Khaled Mohamed Amin El-zorkany, CKD screening in Menoufia and Assiut (Egypt)
  • Sidharth Kumar Sethi, Neonatal AKI Consortium- Achieving 0by25 (India)
  • Channa Jayasumana, Screening of CINAC among adolescents (Sri Lanka)

Chana Jayasumana from Sri Lanka, with a project to be run in the Asia Pacific region, is co-funded by the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology.

Missed the recent call for applications? Start early and submit your project application online now for the next round of applications, which closes on October 1st, 2017.

The ISN Clinical Research Program supports research and education programs in low-to-middle income countries, involving local nephrologists, health workers and authorities. The Program helps implement research projects to detect and manage non-communicable chronic diseases such as CKD, hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The program funds three types of studies, including studies focuses on screening and intervention, local clinical research and acute kidney injury.

How to apply? Start on time

All project proposals are to be submitted to the relevant regional coordinators for initial review and feedback at least one month prior to the final submission deadline. Please make sure to send your project proposals to your regional coordinator (as listed below) no later than September 1st, 2017.

Your application will not be eligible without their letter of approval. The Final Application submission deadline is on October 1st,  2017.

The applications are to be submitted online via http://cr.theisn.org. You are encouraged to sign-up to the online application platform before you contact your regional coordinator. This will enable you to see how your project proposals should be written up and what documentation is expected from you.
