The Translational Research Fellows Program (TRFP) is an exciting collaboration between the Institute for Systems Biology and Providence (Rhode Island, USA) St. Joseph Health that leverages respective systems-based research and clinical expertise. Nominations are now open.
TRFP fellows will have the unique opportunity to translate research from bench to bedside. The three-year, multidisciplinary program provides an independent, fully funded research environment free of the formal teaching responsibilities that typically accompany postdoc and early-faculty tracks.
Candidates must have a PhD or MD/PhD, should have their degree by September 2018, and should not have more than three years prior post-doctoral experience by the beginning of the fellowship program.
To be eligible, candidates must be nominated by experts in the research community.
Nomination letters should describe a candidate’s qualifications and key attributes, such as:
- Out-of-the-box thinking and exceptional creativity
- Bold vision for catalyzing the future of medicine
- Ability to bridge disciplines
- Exceptional potential to translate discoveries from benchtop to bedside for enhanced clinical outcomes.
Please submit nomination letters or any inquiries to trfp@systemsbiology.org. To learn more about the program, CLICK HERE.
