We are pleased to share the results of the Clinical Research Program Grant application session that was held in October 2017. Each grant helps implement research projects to detect and manage chronic kidney disease, hypertension and diabetes in low-to-middle income countries.
Congratulations to the teams behind these four applications! They will each receive between 10,000 and 20,000 USD for setting up a local program for the following projects:
- AKI Detection and Management Tool for Hospitalized Ethiopian Children: Dr. Bezaye Abebe (Ethiopia)
- CKD and TBC in Nepal: Dr. Ananda Chapagain (Nepal)
- Epidemiology of AKI in a Malawian Trauma Cohort: Dr. Erica Bjornstad (Malawi)
- PTH Fragments and Cardiovascular Outcomes in Stage 5 CKD Patients: Dr. Ningning Wang (China)
We would like to thank the Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology for generously co-sponsoring Dr. Chapagain’s project in Nepal.
Interested in gaining support for your research? We are open to receive new applications from February 1st, 2018. The application process will close on May 1st, 2018. Apply online, HERE.
