Apply for newly-launched ISN Mentorship Program

Do you need a guiding hand in your clinical research? Get matched with the right mentor for you. The new ISN Mentorship Program matches experienced mentors with mentees for a three-year expertise-building relationship.

The ISN Mentorship Program aims to foster expertise-building relationships between highly-experienced nephrologists (the mentors) and nephrologists from low-middle-income countries (the mentees) who seek counselling in a specific area, primarily in the domain of clinical research, as well as mentees who are under 40 years of age seeking counsel in an area not specifically related to research.

We are certain that this Program can result in making a concrete difference to the scientific and clinical careers of many nephrologists around the world. Not sure about how to set up your research project? Having issues getting your work published? Submit your application today, tell us what you need help with and take advantage of the helping hand being extended to you.

Applications from mentees, who are ISN members, are welcome throughout the year via CLICK HERE to find out more. Detailed information about the Program’s policies and procedures is also available via the same webpage.

All applications are carefully assessed by the responsible Program Committee Members who then match the most suitable available mentors with the mentees, based on the exact areas for which guidance is required.

This new Mentorship Program, a combined effort between the Clinical Research Committee and the Young Nephrologists Committee (YNC), has been in the works since the beginning of the year. The expertise and goodwill of existing YNC mentors, Educational Ambassadors and Sister Renal Centre collaborators, among others, was called upon to create the current pool of outstanding Mentor experts.

The Mentorship Program is run by Arpana Iyengar (Mentorship Program Chair) and Rolando Claure Del Granado (Young Nephrologists Committee Chair).
