Partnerships for Scientific Excellence at WCN’21

- KDIGO and the ISN’s joint session, the KDIGO Conference on Dialysis: Getting the Basics Right, will provide insights for improving clinical practices on dialysis for all nephrologists despite variation varying global practices. The session will be held on Saturday, April 17.
- Joint IPNA-ISN session, Nephrotic Syndrome in Children:
The state of the art today, to be held on Saturday, April 17, will examine the latest developments in a condition affecting 1 in 50,000
children. - The ASN-ISN joint session on the Pathophysiology of AKI to CKD takes place on Friday, April 16. This session highlights potential novel targets for therapeutic intervention.
- The joint EDTA-ERA-ISN Special Lecture: Managing Renal Services During a Pandemic on Sunday 18 focuses on the daunting challenge of managing renal services during a pandemic and the impact on the global nephrology community.
- Joint ISN-TTS session, The Right Kidney for the Right Recipient,
held on Monday, April 19, will center on kidney donor and recipient matching and strategies to increase access to kidney transplantation.
